Packaging Selection & Existing Mold Matching
The first step is to understand what you need to pack and what the packaging must achieve. Tell us about the food or product, required capacity or dimensions, closure, protection, display and transportation requirements.
Instead of asking you to search through a catalog alone, our team will review the application and recommend suitable options from StlPak’s existing packaging range. In most cases, one of our established product families can meet or closely match the project requirements.
A separate packaging structure or new mold is considered only when the available options cannot provide the required fit or performance. This recommendation-first approach helps customers reach a practical packaging solution more efficiently.
Custom Packaging Design
When an existing container does not fit the product or packing process, we can develop the structure around the actual application.
Design considerations can include overall length, width and height, container depth, capacity, hinged or separate lid structure, locking points, ventilation holes, compartments, label area, stacking features, bottom support and denesting structure.

Tooling & Mold Development
With more than 600 existing molds, many projects can begin from an existing StlPak format. Existing structures can also be reviewed for size or feature adjustments when practical.
For completely new requirements, we support custom thermoforming mold development from drawing to production.
Keeping packaging development, tooling and thermoforming within the same manufacturing system makes it easier to adjust dimensions, closure details and forming performance during development.
Prototype & Sample Development
Sampling is not only about checking how the container looks. It is the stage where the packaging should be tested against the actual product and packing process.
We can provide samples from existing molds as well as custom prototype or pre-production samples.
For suitable existing models, samples can also help customers compare several packaging options before making a purchasing decision.
Material Selection
Material selection affects clarity, rigidity, recycled content, cost, forming performance and food-contact requirements.
Depending on the application and destination market, we can help customers evaluate PET, rPET and other suitable thermoforming materials.
For recycled-content programs, we can also discuss whether the project requires recycled material only or transaction-level traceability documentation.

Quality control does not begin only after the containers are finished. It should continue through material preparation, forming, trimming, inspection, packing and shipment.
Key checks can include dimensions, container weight, appearance, forming quality, lid fit, closure performance, stacking and packing consistency.
For repeat orders, maintaining consistency between production batches is just as important as approving the first sample.
Supply & Logistics Support
For distributors, importers and foodservice suppliers, packaging supply often involves more than one SKU and more than one shipment.
For container programs, we can also review carton dimensions, loading efficiency and SKU combinations to make better use of available container space.
